Kundalini Yoga has been called the Yoga of Awareness.

 

The goal of all Yoga is to connect more deeply with God and Self Realization.

Having a Spiritual Awakening is what happens when you become aware of your Self and of God. Learning to live in a state of Awakening is why Practice of Yogic Technologies and Principles is vital.

Just like when you wake up from a deep sleep, you may need a moment to remember who you are, where you are, what you need to do first, what is next and why you are here.

A real deep sleep can leave you in a state of momentary confusion!! So it can be with us and our various stages of Spiritual Awakening. Kundalini Yoga is designed to support you as you seek Spiritual Awakening, to prepare your nervous system, body, mind and spirit to go through the process of waking up gracefully or support you wherever you may be in the process. It is special to have a Spirit filled experience in this lifetime, it requires support!! Kundalini Yoga is how I find and give support in the most effective ways.

Yoga is an ancient practice that combines physical postures, breathing exercises, and meditation to improve overall health and well-being. The word "yoga" comes from the Sanskrit word yuj, which means "to join," "to combine," or "to unite." The practice is said to bring harmony between the mind and body. 

Yoga sessions typically include:

  • Asana: Physical postures that stretch and flex muscles

  • Pranayama: Breath regulation exercises that clear obstacles in the body to free the flow of life energy, or prana

  • Savasana: Relaxation that helps the body restore itself by shifting the central nervous system toward the parasympathetic nervous system

  • Vedānta and Dhyāna: Positive thinking and meditation 

 

Yoga can help build strength and flexibility, manage pain, and reduce stress. There are more than 100 different types of yoga, or schools, within the practice.

Buti yoga is a high-intensity cardio workout that combines traditional yoga with tribal dance and other conditioning elements. The practice is designed to be body-sculpting, and can help improve flexibility, endurance, and burn calories. Buti yoga classes are known for their loud music, which can include a mix of tribal, house, electronic, trance, and hip hop, and for their constantly changing movements that don't involve counting or left-to-right or up-and-down patterns.

Under the umbrella of Buti Yoga Mvmnt are several styles that cater to various needs but based and rooted in foundational Buti Principles. 

Our in-house Buti Yoga Instructor, Katelyn Mckinney, is certified in every style of Buti Yoga MVMNT and is in process of getting her Somatic Practitioner Cert from Buti as well.

Currently she offers Buti MVMNT, Primal Flow and Deep Buti classes every week plus once a month we do Buti Glo-Party. It is so much fun!
